Demoboost, the Warsaw-based startup that helps software companies deliver superior demo experiences to close more deals faster, has raised €1.7 million in a pre-seed round to further accelerate product development and the global expansion of the platform. The round was led by btov Partners with support from Movens Capital and noted European angel investors.
Continuing rapid growth in the SaaS market, expected to climb to $10 trillion by 2030 according to McKinsey, is creating higher expectations on the side of buyers and channel partners. Today’s buyers expect to be able to access relevant product information fast, if not immediately. However, only 11% of digital customer experience executives believe their digital customer experience tools are “working well,” and 42% think their tools “need work.”
Demos are an effective tool to inform prospects and help turn them into customers, and ‘Book a Demo’ is the most common call to action on SaaS websites. Yet the demo creation process has become a major bottleneck in the sales process for vendors. The growing demand from customers has left presales teams - the people who create and deliver demos - extremely stretched. It can take up to five days for a face-to-face conversation to take place after requesting a demo and another two to three weeks to actually see the product demo. Those problems are further exacerbated for channel partners, who account for 57% of SaaS revenue according to data from SaaS Capital. Channel partners often lack the volume of specialists and expertise needed to ensure the proper delivery of demos, as they frequently sell multiple products at the same time.
Demoboost addresses those issues by empowering companies to automate demos. It provides a demo library from which presales can create, customize and leverage demos for a range of teams and use cases. The Demoboost platform enables sales, marketing, customer success teams, and even channel partners, to easily tailor granular details, reducing waiting times for demos and facilitating better lead-generation, deal conversion and product adoption. Sales teams, for instance, can fully personalize the demo for the individual sales prospect, including the client logo, data inputs, and other content within the demo, without the need to involve presales teams.
Customization does not require any coding, freeing up valuable time for solution engineers. Demos can be saved and stored indefinitely and can be leveraged by the entire organization. The platform also allows vendors to track the performance of demos and leverage the data for follow-ups and optimization of the customer journey, with insights delivered straight to Salesforce.

Co-founded by Piotr Zesiuk (Chairman), Pawel Jaszczurowski (CEO), Kamil Smuga (CTO) and Anna Decroix (CMO) in May 2021, Demoboost already counts many dozens of clients across multiple verticals, including established enterprise companies such as Veritas and Citrix, mid-size companies such as Sygnity, and Billennium, and high-growth startups such as Kogena and Ken24.
Demoboost’s future plans include the release of features that specifically support channel partners and make the self-service buying experience even more user-friendly. The startup, which is already selling globally, will also establish a stronger presence in Europe, India, Singapore and Australia.
