Less Clicking, More Building: New Dashboard, Demo Archive, Global Linking & Smarter Sharing
Table of contents

This release touches four parts of Demoboost that demo teams interact with every single day. The common thread: less time spent on the platform mechanics, more time spent on the demo itself

Here's what's new.

The old Demoboost home screen showed you a list of demo names and not much else. Finding the right demo meant clicking in, checking, going back, clicking in again.

The new dashboard changes that from the moment you log in.

Your demos now appear as visual cards, with a thumbnail preview, screen count, and last-edited date. You see what you're opening before you open it. Below your demos, a dedicated "Learn best practices" section brings the Knowledge Base, Interactive Demo Playbook, AI guides, and Webinars directly onto the home screen. No more hunting through menus mid-build when you need a quick how-to.

It's a home base that works

Demo Archive: A Safety Net for Your Library

Keeping a clean demo library sometimes means removing things you might want later. Until now, deleting a demo was permanent, which made a lot of teams hesitant to remove anything at all.

The Demo Archive fixes that. Delete a demo from your main library and it moves to the Archive, visible in the sidebar whenever you need it. Restore it in one click if you change your mind.

Clean library, zero risk.

Global Linking: Link Once, Apply Everywhere

Sandbox demos are big. A realistic one runs 30, 40, sometimes 100+ screens, and your nav bars, menus, and logos repeat across most of them. Making those elements actually clickable is what turns a sandbox into something that feels like a real product.

Global Linking makes that fast.

Click an element, select the destination screen, and hit "Apply to all screens." Demoboost scans the entire demo, identifies every screen where that element appears and propagates the link across all of them at once. Before applying, it shows you exactly which screens will get the link and which will be skipped. Then it's done.

Full control stays with you throughout. Override a link on a specific screen without touching the rest. Remove it from one screen or all of them at once.

Newly captured demos work out of the box. For older demos, there's a one-time background processing step the first time you use it. After that, it's instant.

Fully navigable sandboxes, built in a fraction of the time.

Sharing Modal: Redesigned, and Now With Direct Email Sending

The old sharing modal was essentially a checklist. Lead form on or off. Email validation on or off. Password. Expiry date. Copy the link. Go share it yourself.

The new modal does the sharing for you.

Type one or more recipient emails, add a personal message, choose a lead form from the dropdown, and hit Share. The demo lands directly in their inbox, sent from within Demoboost. No link copying, no tab switching, no extra steps

Secure sharing options sit neatly in the same modal when you need them: allowed and blocked email lists, verification codes, password protection, and expiry dates. There when you want them, out of the way when you don't.

Copy link is still there too, for anyone who prefers the manual route.
