This release is all about giving you more precision — over how your demos look, what data they collect, and who gets to watch them. Three focused improvements that make Demoboost fit tighter into your workflow.
Resizable Guides
Your guides now flex to fit your content — not the other way around.
Up until now, guide bubbles had a fixed size. If your message was short, it felt sparse. If it was long, it felt cramped. That changes today. You can now resize any guide by dragging its edges with your mouse, or by typing an exact pixel value if you prefer precision.
Make them compact for quick tips. Make them larger for detailed walkthroughs. The choice is yours — and it takes seconds.
What's new:
- Drag to resize guides freely in any direction
- Type exact dimensions for pixel-perfect sizing
- Works across all guide types in your demos
Hidden Fields in Lead Forms
Collect the data you need — without cluttering the form your prospects see.
This one is built for teams who want richer lead data without sacrificing a clean form experience. You can now mark any text or number field as hidden. Hidden fields don't appear during demo playback, but they're very much alive behind the scenes.
Here's where it gets powerful: hidden fields can still be pre-populated via URL parameters, making it seamless to pass through campaign data, source tracking, UTM context, or a shared API key — all without the viewer knowing it's there. Everything collected flows straight to your webhooks, just like any visible field.
What's new:
- Mark any text or number field as hidden
- Hidden fields are invisible during playback but fully functional
- Pre-fill hidden fields via URL parameter prefill
- All hidden field data is sent to connected webhooks
- Supports multiple hidden fields per form
- Also includes a new default value option for pre-filling visible fields
This feature was directly driven by customer feedback — including requests to pass lightweight authentication tokens through lead forms for CRM integrations. We heard you.
Block List in Sharing Settings
You already had an Allow List. Now meet its counterpart.
Sharing settings now include a Block List, letting you explicitly bar specific email addresses or entire domains from accessing your demo links. Keeping a competitor from watching your product walkthrough is now as simple as adding their domain.
The Block List sits alongside the existing Allow List in your sharing modal, giving you both ends of the access control spectrum in one place.
What's new:
- Block specific email addresses from accessing shared demos
- Block entire domains (e.g., @competitor.com)
- Works alongside the existing Allow List for full access control
