How to Use Demoboost AI assistant for screen editing

Wingman is Demoboost's AI-powered editing assistant that helps you personalize and update your interactive demos using natural language. Whether you need to change text, replace images, update charts, or redesign an entire screen, Wingman can complete these tasks in seconds.

Step 1: Open Wingman

You'll find the Wingman widget in the bottom-right corner of the editor. Open the chat to start editing.

Step 2: Access Previous Conversations

Need to continue where you left off?

Open your Chat History to revisit previous conversations, continue editing from an earlier session or remove chats you no longer need.

Click the + button whenever you'd like to start fresh.

Creating a new conversation is a great way to keep different editing tasks organized while working on multiple demos or personalization requests.

Step 3: Provide Visual Context

You can upload an image to use as a reference or ask Wingman to place it directly on your screen.

This is a quick way to update logos, charts or any other visual assets while giving Wingman additional context for your request.

Step 4: Choose What to Edit

By default, Wingman analyzes the entire screen and applies changes wherever they're needed.

If you're looking for a more precise edit, enable Target Mode and select the element you'd like to update.

Alternatively, you can select an element first and click Edit with AI — this automatically opens Wingman in Target Mode, allowing the AI to focus only on the selected element.

Step 5: Review Wingman's Suggestions

Once you've submitted your request, Wingman will show a detailed breakdown of its reasoning process, and summarize everything that was edited.

Review the suggested updates to make sure they match your expectations.

Step 6: Apply Your Changes

When you're happy with the result, click Accept to instantly apply all changes to your screen.

That's it! Your demo is now updated and ready to use.
