How to Share Demos

On-demand demos are demos intended to be viewed asynchronously - instead of presenting a demo during a meeting, you can simply send a link for the potential customer to check it out themselves whenever they want.

Note: You don't have to create separate demos for sharing and presenting live - all demos can be used in any of the two "modes".

To share a demo in on-demand mode:

Step 1

Open the Demo Page.

Step 2

Open up the Demo Details of the demo.

Step 3

Click on Share

Step 4: 

A Share modal will appear. Here, you can enter one or more recipient email addresses, add a personal message, and choose a Lead Form from the dropdown—or send the demo without one. When you're ready, click Share.

Your demo will be delivered directly to your recipients' inboxes from within Demoboost—no copying links, switching tabs, or using a separate email client.‍

Note: The sharing settings you choose apply only to your specific link. Other team members can configure their own sharing settings. The only exception is when your organization admin has enforced a Lead Form across the entire workspace.

Step 5: 

The same Share modal also includes several Secure Sharing options to help you control who can access your demo.

Validate Email or Domain
Allow or restrict access for specific email addresses or entire organizations by specifying a domain (e.g., john@acme.com or @acme.com).

Require Email Verification
Require viewers to verify their identity using a 6-digit code sent to their email before they can access the demo—ideal for sharing sensitive product information.

Password Protection
Secure your demo with a custom password. Viewers will be prompted to enter it before the demo loads.

Set an Expiry Date
Automatically deactivate the demo link after a specified date and time—perfect for time-sensitive demos or controlled access.

Step 6: 

Once you've configured your sharing preferences, you can also copy the demo link and share it through your preferred communication channel.
