- Obviously, native mobile apps can't be captured using the Demoboost extension (since they're not viewable in a web browser). However, they are an integral part of many demos. To showcase them, you can use multimedia screens.
Step 1: Open the mobile app that you want to add to the demo on your device.
Step 2: Create screenshots of the views you'd like to present.
Step 3: Transfer the screenshots to your PC - for this example, we'll use Google Drive.
Step 4: To create a new demo, go to the 'Demos' page and click on 'Create new' in the top-right corner, then choose 'Demo
- Skip this if you'd like to add mobile app screens to an existing demo. Refer to Multimedia screens guide.
Step 5: Name your demo and confirm by clicking on Create
Step 6: Click on Add a multimedia screen.
Step 7: Name your new screen and click on Save to confirm.
Step 8: Click on Upload media and upload your first screenshot of the mobile app.
Step 9: Click on the three-dot button in the bottom-right corner of the screen thumbnail and choose Add a new screen.
Step 10: Upload your second screen. Repeat until all your screens have been uploaded.
Step 11: Enhance your screens with custom interactions. Click on an image, then drag and drop to move or resize a box to create hotspots that can simulate buttons, links, and more.
Step 12: Click on the custom interaction and choose Link.
Step 13: Link the hotspot to another screen.
